Sign up below to receive Jefferson County Department of Emergency Management’s emergency alerts by text on your mobile phone and/or by email.

Local Radio Stations
KPTZ 91.9 FM, KROW 91.1 FM and KIRO 97.3 FM are vital to our communication efforts.

Transportation Alerts
The Washington State Department of Transportation has an email subscription service, where you can choose from nearly 200 specialized alerts on traffic conditions, mountain pass reports, and construction updates by region. To subscribe, click here.

Tsunami Sirens
There are currently 45 All Hazard Alert Broadcast (AHAB) "siren" installations in Washington State with three located in the Port Townsend area. A fourth siren warns our west Jefferson County residents on the Pacific coast. Tsunami sirens are tested every other month on the first Monday of the month at 12:00 noon. Test tones are different than the actual "siren" sound. Click here for more information.
