NIMS-BASED
PROGRAM: The Jefferson County Emergency Management plan is
based on the requirements of the National Incident Management System
(NIMS). The EOC team is structured according to that nationally
recognized management concept. By adopting NIMS procedures, much of
the basic training for volunteer team members is available online,
providing a meaningful starting point for participation. |
