Mission & Strategic Vision
Our vision is an inclusive agenda of preparedness and collaboration of the governments of Jefferson County and the City of Port Townsend to meet the needs of our geographically unique community in the event of a major emergency or disaster.

Our emergency management planning and programs define how we will carry out the duties organizing resources of government and non-government entities, the private sector, and our citizens to restore critical services and re-establish public health and order following a disaster. It is through this process of joint endeavor that we can reduce the impact of the emergency and make the best use of our strengths, resources, and will.
